Q: What is Filoogle?

A: Have we not made it obvious enough? With Filoogle, you have all the same functionality with web searches, but with the addition of being able to search through all the different files indexed.

Q: How do the searches work?

A: Basically through a method of "Google hacking" but you don't have to deal with all the messy details. Also, unlike using Google for search functions, we have taken out many pages that don't contain directories that you're searching for in an attempt to make your searches as narrow and exact as possible. Some searches don't operate off of Google hacking, but will just search through hundreds of sites related to the type of file you want. So in a nutshell, Filoogle is designed to figure out the best way of searching the internet depending on what you're wanting to find.

Q: Some of my copyrighted content is on Filoogle. How do I get it taken off?

A: Use the contact form at the bottom if you feel there is no other steps you can take. The website owners that have uploaded your content should be contacted first as this site is not hosting any copyrighted files. If they refuse to take your content down, you can contact Google which will get the page removed from their search engines altogether. But we will still do our best to make sure those sites get filtered out.
